Coping Strategies in Children of Parents Deceased from Cancer and Children of Parents Healed from Cancer

This study aimed to compare coping strategies in children of parents deceased from cancer and healed the city Shiraz, Iran. One-hundred fifteen people [58 57 cancer] were recruited this via a convenience sampling method. Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations was used measure different types [task-oriented strategy, emotion-oriented avoidance strategy]. The results showed that task-oriented strategy significantly more than cancer. Moreover, use No significant difference observed between two groups coping. highlights importance families with parent which demand teaching appropriate order reduce adverse consequence family.
